3 chopped green chillies
½ tablespoon ginger paste
1 peeled and chopped Onion
Clarified Butter (ghee)
2 tablespoon cooking oil
2 cups whole wheat flour
100 gm boiled, peeled and mashed potatoes
Few strands of fresh coriander leaves
½ tablespoon garlic paste
Heat the oil in a heavy based pot until it is hot Add onions and green chillies and fry the onions until it turns golden brown.
Add garlic paste, ginger paste, salt and mashed potato and mix well. Add cilantro leaves, fry for another 5 to 6 minutes, then remove from heat and set it aside.
Mix wheat flour with salt and knead by adding water and make a soft dough. Divide the dough into small balls and then roll them out into round chapatis with a roller.
Place some potato mixture in the center of each round chapati cover with another round chapati and close the edges by pressing with your fingers. Roll it again into a round shape.
Fry in a pan of clarified butter or butter on both sides until cooked well.
Repeat the process with the remaining dough and potato mixture.
