Easy Granola Bars

Ingredients - This recipe makes 1 pan
2 cups quick oats
1 cup crispy rice cereal
¼ cup shredded coconut (toasted works too)
¼ cup butter
¼ cup honey
½ cup brown sugar
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon vanilla
1. In a large bowl mix together all the dry ingredients.
2. In a small saucepan melt the butter and add brown sugar, honey and salt.
3. Allow mixture to boil for 2 minutes, add the vanilla and add the mixture to the dry ingredients. Mix until just blended.
4. Press into a greased 9 x 13 inch pan. Refrigerate until set. (20 minutes)
5. Slice and serve.
Tips and Tricks
Don't be afraid to mix it up with this recipe. You can add any number of yummy ingredients. Chocolate chips, smarties, dried fruit, etc.
