- This recipe makes 1 jar
3 tbsp brown rice malt syrup (or honey although this will add to the sugar content)
3 tbsp chia seeds
2-3 tbsp water
1 tsp vanilla extract
?Place all the ingredients in a pot.
?Put on a medium heat until mixture bubbles. Then turn the heat down and let simmer for about 5 minutes, stirring at regular intervals.
?Mash the mixture with a masher / fork and pour in to a bowl.
?Let the jam cool and then pour in to an air tight glass container. It will keep for about a week.
