Vegan Choco Hazelnut Donuts

Ingredients - This recipe makes 6 donuts
-1 can dark red kidney beans (rinsed and drained)
-1 cup almond milk
- ½ cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla paste
- 1cup cocoa powder
- 1cup whole wheat flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 ½ cup enjoy life chocolate chips
- ½ cup raw hazelnuts
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. In a blender mix beans, milk, brown sugar, cocoa and vanilla until well blended and creamy. Pour mixture into a medium bowl and mix in flour and baking powder. Mix until all combine. It will be a bit grainy.
3. Grease donut pan with coconut oil.
4. Spoon batter into donut molds. Bake for 9-11min. Cool in pan for 2min then remove onto a cooling rack.
5. Chop hazelnuts and combine with ½cup chocolate chips. Melt the remaining cup on chocolate chips in the microwave at 20 second increments until creamy and smooth.
6. Top donuts with chocolate glaze, immediately follow with hazelnut combination. Let topping harden for 30min.
